What is the OCWR?
The Office of Congressional Workplace Rights (OCWR) — formerly Office of Compliance — is a neutral, nonpartisan, and independent congressional office that advances workplace rights, safety and health, and accessibility in the legislative branch. Call to learn more about your workplace protections.
As a legislative branch employee, you have important workplace protections put in place by Congress.
These provisions, detailed in the Congressional Accountability Act (CAA), include anti-discrimination, family and medical leave, and hazard-free workplace protections.
