Daniel M. Turbitt became the Director of the Administrative Dispute Resolution Program at the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights in September 2018. In this capacity, he is responsible for processing claims alleging violations of workplace rights under the Congressional Accountability Act.
Previously, Mr. Turbitt held the position of Chief Counsel for the Acting Chairman (and Vice Chairman and Member) of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board and served as an Administrative Judge from 1996 to 2014, issuing decisions in more than 2,300 federal employment law cases. He also served on two Senior Fellows Management Program developmental details with the Department of Labor’s Civil Rights Center and the National Labor Relations Board’s Division of Operations Management.
Mr. Turbitt is a certified mediator who has successfully mediated hundreds of cases. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Providence College and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America.
