Jim Peterson is an an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist for the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights.
Before joining the Office in October 2017, Mr. Peterson previously served as a Safety Specialist for the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army and the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife. He is also a Coast Guard veteran with 22 years of service.
Mr. Peterson has his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in occupational safety and health from Columbia Southern University. He also completed a two-year safety intern program with the Army.
